About Ivy
Ivy, owner of Nomad Therapeutics L.L.C. has been a massage therapist since 2010. She has experience in the high-end spa industry as well as the clinical space, working with physical therapists and chiropractors. She is certified in prenatal massage and manual lymphatic drainage for the general population. She is excited to be continuing her manual lymphatic drainage certifications to include post-surgical and oncology MLD in the new year!

Upon intake a fully customized massage will be created for you. Prenatal massage focuses on supporting circulation to decrease swelling, reducing stress, and releasing tense areas especially around the hips, back and shoulders to prepare you for labor and the fourth trimester.

Manual Lymphatic Drainage (MLD)
MLD (Vodder technique) can provide relief of migraine headaches, fibromyalgia, rheumatoid arthritis, stress, fatigue, and more. MLD also induces general relaxation, boosts circulation, enhances immune health, and detoxification. This treatment uses light, rhythmic strokes that gently stretch the skin and send lymph to corresponding nodes for the body to process. No lotion or oil is used. However, it is deeply calming and relaxing.

Cupping

Moving silicone cups are used as an extension of the therapist's hands to release and remold stuck fascia. This is an excellent way to soften overly tense muscles prior to deep tissue work. Cupping brings important healing cells and blood flow to the area being treated.
